I think even if a new patch is released then it will be fine again.
I've spent about 4 hours total waiting for the download over and over again, which I'm sure you're in the same position.
It's definitely a problem with the patch, no doubt.
Hi there, I have been experiencing issues trying to successfully install the game update for Spartacus Legends.
I am able to download and install the game itself, but when it starts up I am requested to install update 1.01 before I can get any further.
Following successful download of the update, the install process begins, but always stops at around 14%.
I have attempted the following to try and resolve the issue myself, but nothing has worked so far, with the game update failing to complete every time I try to install it: Deletion of the corrupted game file and re-download/reinstall of both the game and the update; Restored PS3 to Default Settings; Reset settings on my external modem and checked for any firewall settings that may be interfering with PS3 downloads (there are none on my modem); and Re-downloaded both the game and the update via wired connection (as opposed to wireless, which we have always used and never had any issues with) and reattempted installation.
They need to get the update fixed before I even think about that. I've been getting the exact same to every last detail.
I myself am just waiting for a new patch to come about before trying again.I also forgot to mention that I originally posted this to the Play Station Network forums as well, but with no luck.I have also checked with my ISP and they have advised that there are currently no network issues affecting the internet connection or speed within our region.I have downloaded several other games and updates in the past with none of the above issues, and - Is there anything else you can suggest, and do you know if there's a chance you will be releasing a "fixed" update/patch for PS3 in the near future?I've been waiting for this game for such a long time, as I'm sure many other PS3 owners have, and it's extremely frustrating knowing that I get so close but can't do anything just because the update doesn't install properly.
